Tyler McCreary, author of Shared Histories, wins Lieutenant Governor’s Medal
The BC Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for historical writing and $2,500 has been awarded to Tyler McCreary for Shared Histories: Witsuwit’en-Settler Relations in Smithers, British Columbia, 1913 – 1973. The award was handed out at a BC Historical Federation gala in Courtenay on June 8.
